Shirley Holt Obituary
Shirley Jean Holt, 72 of New Troy passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Corewell Health South, St. Joseph.
A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery, New Troy. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Shirley was born February 12, 1951 in Berrien Springs, the daughter of the late James and Belle (McGee) Kemp. On February 15, 1992 she married Teddy Lee Holt and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2009. Shirley liked to socialize, spend time with family and her grandchildren. She was a member of the New Troy American Legion Post 518 Ladies Auxiliary, loved her dog, Grace and traveling with her late husband, Ted.
Survivors include her sons: Phillip (Emily) Melton and Larry (Nichole) Melton; grandchildren, Gage, Julius, Kennedy, Sydney and Lucas Melton; two sisters: Carrie Holt and Carolyn (Gordon) McFarlane.
Shirley was also preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.
