Shirley Ann Hunt, 77, of Davy, WV, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community in Princeton, WV.
Shirley was born April 10 1947 in Welch, WV a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Mowdy Mulkey. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Davy. She enjoyed going to church and was a member of the church's Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to the commission on aging and attending auctions. Additionally, she was a member of the Davy Town Council.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hunt, a sister, Brenda Roberts and a brother, Ned Mulkey.
Survivors include one son, Charles Hunt and wife Lisa Kirk of Davy; one daughter, Lisa Martin and husband Lorne of Brier Creek; three grandsons, Charles A. Hunt, Jonathan Martin, and Bubs Martin all of Davy, WV; four great grandchildren, Lily Martin, Bryndon Martin, Gunner Marttin and Cason Martin; and a special friend, Bobby Parks.
Friends may visit with the family at the First Church of God in Davy, Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 10 o'clock until the time of services at 12 o'clock.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 12 o'clock with Pastor Roy Williams officiating at the First Church of God in Davy. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
Fanning Funeral Home in Welch is assisting the family.
