With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Huntsinger, who left this world peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the age of 89. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Shirley's life was marked by her boundless warmth, resilience, and unwavering love for her family.
Born on September 27th, 1935, Shirley grew up with a strong sense of faith, kindness, and compassion that she carried with her throughout her life. She was known for her strong spirit, sharp wit, and her ability to make anyone feel welcome. She always had a song in her heart, and a story to tell.
Shirley was a woman of enormous strength who loved as fiercely as she laughed. She faced life's challenges with grace and an enduring optimism that uplifted everyone around her. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow.
Shirley is survived by her children Ernest Huntsinger (Roberta) and Steven Huntsinger, grandchildren Renee Orr (Roger), Sommer Huntsinger and Everett Huntsinger, great-grandchildren Nathaniel Orr and Everett Huntsinger II, and several nieces and nephews. They will carry forward her legacy of creativity, passion and unwavering faith.
