Shirley was best known as a cosmetologist for many years. Shirley enjoyed music, dancing, the beach and the sun. She loved vacationing in Mexico with her husband Larry. Shirley was always up for good conversation and a hot cup of coffee with friends and family.
Shirley is survived her sister, Charlotte Burdine and her brother Jim Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband James (Larry) Isabel, her father Floyd Fred Johnson, her mother Laura Lucille Bates (maiden) Johnson, her sister Joan Johnson, and her brother Floyd (Sonny) Johnson.
Per Shirley request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com Memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.

I work at Marshalls in Adrian and Shirley was a regular customer there. She was always ready with a smile and a hug whenever I saw her. I will miss her dearly!

This just breaks my heart. I have such wonderful memories of her and our ex mother in law. What fun we had sitting around that kitchen table!!! I will forever hold her in my heart. Sending love and hugs to her family.
