Shirley Lamers Obituary

Shirley A Lamers, 77, of San Antonio, Texas, entered into her heavenly Father's home on Friday, March 28, 2025. She passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband Mike of over 57 years, their five children John, Christian, Amanda, Corbin, Aaron and all their spouses, along with 19 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother Albert and his wife, a sister Barbara and her husband, and a nephew.
She dedicated her life to helping others. She had a heart for animals and worked with several rescues providing transportation for cats or dogs in need. She loved spending time with family and friends playing bridge or other card games; that was her happy place. We know this will not be the last time we see her as she is now resting joyfully with our Lord and Savior, spending all eternity with those that have passed before her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in San Antonio, Texas, and Chandler, Arizona. Memorials in Shirley's honor should be made to your local non-kill animal rescue or shelter.
