Shirley Mae Milburn, 83, of East Canton passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. She was born October 21, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to the late Park and Violet Boone.
Shirley loved to do ceramics and teach ceramics classes. She retired from Portage Electric after 30 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; brothers, Melvin and Robert Boone.
Shirley is survived by her children, Michael (fiancée Joni Nelson) Milburn, Dianna Bowers (fiance' Charles Clough) and Tammy (Robert) Ohman; grandchildren, Crystal Webber, Julie (Jason) Valentine, Terri Luckel and Phillip O'Conner; five great grandchildren; six step grandchildren, eight great step-grandchildren and one great great step-grandchild; fiance' Ethan Hammon and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, 705 Raff Rd. SW Canton, Ohio 44710 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11am. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Stark County Human Society. Please visit www.reedfuneralhme.com to sign the online guestbook.
