Mrs. Shirley Temple Graves Pinnix age 86, transitioned from her labor to reward on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at her home. Born on February 5, 1938 in Caswell County, North Carolina, Shirley was the eldest daughter of Martha Graves Yellock and Charlie Clarence Yellock, both now deceased. Shirley was educated in the Caswell County School system. Her love for cooking, sewing, and caring for others over the years speaks volumes about her giving nature. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Therbold Reid Pinnix, four brothers, Edward Graves, Paul, Larry and James Yellock and three sisters, Joann Bigelow, Essie Mae Graves and Betty Yellock.
