Shirley Ann Pohlod, 94 of Auburn passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.
She was born June 18, 1929 in Loami, the daughter of Isaac and Inez Carson Dodd.
Shirley married Donald Pohlod on August 24, 1952 and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2022. Also, preceded in death by two siblings, Gerry Ryan and Loren Dodd. Survived by one brother, Gene Dodd.
During their long life together, Shirley and Don had two children, Holly and Barry. They enjoyed traveling together and with their family.
Shirley worked at Memorial Hospital as a RN and then became the shift supervisor retiring after 30 years.
Shirley was known by many as a wonderful friend who would take the time to check in to make sure everyone she knew was doing well.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 5:30 pm till time of memorial services at 6:30 pm at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn with Rev. Michael Madden officiating.

Shirley was one of the sweeties lady I met. She always had me laughing. She will be missed.
