View Tribute Book Shirley Neeley Reed went into the presence of the Lord on September 5th, 2025.Shirley is survived by her husband Terry Reed; her son, Michael Reed and wife Jamie; daughter, Laura Reed Brower and husband Bill; four Grandchildren, all boys, Jordan Reed, Travis Chappell, Cameron Reed and wife Brooke, Brandon Brower and wife Grace; three Great grandchildren, all girls, Gwen Chappell, Sophia Reed and Emma Brower.Shirley was born in Magazine, Arkansas, on July 25th, 1936, to JD and Jewell Neeley. Shirley's family traveled to many areas to work during the back end of the Great Depression. They finally settled in Pasadena, Texas, where Shirley spent the majority of her life. She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1954 and met the love of her life Terry Reed. They were married on April 30th, 1955. This year, 2025, Shirley and Terry celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary.Shirley was dedicated to her family and loved unconditionally. She loved to sing, dance, listen to music and enjoyed painting, ceramics and was a meticulous decorator especially at Christmas. Shirley loved to travel with Terry and friends and had the opportunity to see much of the United States. Shirley and Terry were members of Grace Church in Houston Texas, where they both accepted Jesus as their Savior and were baptized.Shirley was also an entrepreneur as she owned the first ever nail salon in Pasadena Texas, "The Emery Board".Shirley will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew her. She is now Perfect in mind and body, dancing and singing in Heaven.
