Shirley Schroll Obituary
Shirley was born to the late Hazel and Leo McClure Sr. in Toledo, Ohio on February 20, 1940.
Shirley was a proud and faithful member of Fairdale Christian Church for over 40 years. At the church, she taught second and third grade for over 35 years. She had a heart for the children there and helped mold many young lives to love and follow Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard Schroll; children, Gregory Schroll, and Brian Schroll; parents, Hazel and Leo McClure Sr.; and brother, Leo McClure.
She is survived by her children Michael (Shelly), Tim (Katrina); grandchildren, Austin (Michelle) Schroll, Autumn (Corey), Maggie (John), Michael Jr., Leo, Kevin, Sarah, Anna, Isaac; great-grandchildren, Sutton, Aspen, Kori, Colton, Lincoln, and Landon; and daughter-in-law, Christie Schroll.
Her visitation will be held at Owen Funeral Home- Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Road on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and her funeral service will be Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. followed by procession to burial at Bethany Memory Cemetery.
