Richard Schroll, 73, of Myrtle Beach, passed peacefully on September 17th.

He was born in Reading, PA to Richard (Dick) Schroll and Jane Pennypacker. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1969 and attended Penn State for Drafting.

Richard met his wife, Brenda, in 1970 when she caught his eye by honking at him from her orange 1969 Camaro as he was worked on cars with his friends and brother. They married in 1974, later having two sons, Michael in 1982 and Kevin in 1990. Richard and his older brother, Stephen, continued their love working on cars and opened West Side Auto Body & Sales where they worked together as brothers and partners in racing, fixing and selling cars for 45 years in Robesonia, PA. The brothers sold their business in 2016 and retired to Myrtle Beach, SC.

Richard loved Penn State Football, Wood Carving, Music, Cars, and to laugh. He loved spending time with his family especially for the holidays with good food, movies, and stories to make everyone laugh.

He leaves behind his loving wife Brenda, along with his children, Michael and Kevin, and his brother Stephen
