Scott Lynn Schroll, known to many as "Scooter" lived life for the journey, not just the destination. Scooter was born October 4th, 1963, in Rome, New York to loving parents William "Bill" and Arlene Schroll. He passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2025, in the company of his devoted wife, Jan Schroll. He was a beloved member of Vulcan Riders and Owners Club (VROC), a close-knit family of bikers that support and uplift each other in all aspects of life, and death.
He was a magnetic force, people gravitated towards him, and he accepted and loved them all. He was compassionate, loving, caring, attentive, and hilarious. If you were around Scooter, you were guaranteed to laugh because he always had a great story or a 'punny' joke up his sleeve.
He is preceded in death by his loving father, William "Bill" Schroll, and stepson Cory Teague. He is survived by his wife, Jan Schroll; mother, Arlene Schroll; Sons, Christopher and Mitchell Schroll; Stepdaughter, Heather Schrock; Son-in-law, Aaron Schrock; and Grandchildren; William Schroll Burns, Roman, and Callie Schrock.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 pm at North Cleveland Baptist Church Annex. Letter to our Dad:
Dad, we will miss you immensely. You were our "go-to" when life got rough, you were our sanity in this crazy world, and our comfort when we needed clarity. You were always someone we could count on, and although you were a straight shooter, you always got your point across without judgement and always provided us sound advice. We thank you for all the calls, wise words of advice, comic relief, the love you gave us and the beautiful lives we've lived because of you and your boundless love for us. We are better people because of you. We will forever keep you in our hearts with God.
