Shirley was a retired teacher of 36 years. She worked at Nazareth's SCN Center and retired there as well. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Waldridge, a son, Tony (Nichole) Waldridge, one brother, David Barnes, 5 grandchildren, Kristen Ferrie, Hannah Waldridge, Harley Sweeney, Andy Waldridge, and Avery Sweeney. As well as 4 Great Grandchildren, Carleigh Wolf, Landen Wolf, Eva Ferrie, and Hunter Joseph.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Louise Waldridge will be Friday, November 29, 2024, at 3:00 pm at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown. Visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2024, from 11:00 am until the time of service later that day. Cremation to follow services, the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
