Mrs. Shirley Kathreen Walden Watts, 89, of Scottsburg, VA, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at her home. She was born February 18, 1936, in Halifax County, VA to the late Willie King Walden and the late Gertrude Gibson Walden. Shirley was married to the late Joe Wilson Watts, Jr. for 57 years.
Shirley retired as an LPN from Roxboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and was an 80 year member of Scottsburg Baptist Church. She served as the church organist for 45 years and was a devoted Sunday School teacher for 33 years.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 12:00 PM. at Scottsburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Kermit Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Scottsburg, VA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Scottsburg Baptist Church.
