Shirley Ann Wayne

Shirley Wayne, 77, of North Little Rock passed away January 25th and went joyfully to be with the Lord. She was born December 17, 1938 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to John L. and Valora (Orman) Whitehurst. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Donna Sue Wayne; and one brother, Jerry Whitehurst. Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles D. Wayne; one son, Mark Wayne of North Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter, Lorri Dufek of Findlay, Ohio; three sisters, Marilyn Montgomery of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Judy Thomas (Jim) of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Donna McNew (Ron) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Camilla Stephfanos, David Allen Wayne, Michael Wayne all of Colorado, Zachary Dufek and Bradley Dufek both of Ohio; five great grandchildren, William, Kala, Oliva, Joe Joe Stephfanos, and Riley Wayne. Shirley was a banker for 20 years and also worked at a grocery store for 5 years. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29th at New Horizons `International Ministries on Eastline Road, in Searcy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29th at New Horizons International Ministries on Eastline Road, in Searcy. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 1st at the Arkansas Veteran's Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
