Shirley M. Webb

Shirley M. Webb, 89, went home with the Lord on August 12, 2025. Shirley was born in PA to the late Harry and Annabelle Morgan. She was the oldest of 7 children.
After high school, Shirley was a secretary for Corning, Inc. where she met and later married Leonard Webb. Together they raised 5 children, and regularly attended the Presbyterian Church. Later, Shirley worked for the Chemung County Health Dept. untill her retirement.
Shirley had a great love for dance, musicals, and theatre. She also enjoyed to read, garden, and travel. Shirley and Len were members of the "Relaxed Squares" dance group for many years. She also performed in tap dance shows for the Senior Center. She cherised time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her children: Cheryl (Harry) Reidy, Kathy Magaw, Candice (John) Phillips; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 5 siblings.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Webb; Daughter, Kim Kimball; son, Lynn David Webb; and sister, Joan Newman.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at Friends of the Cross Christian Church, 2618 Goff Rd, Corning, NY on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00 am, Pastor Pete Miller officiating. Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with Shirley's care.
