Mrs. Shirley Ann Wilson, age 79, passed away on February 12, 2025 at Haven Hospice.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Starke, FL to King Chandler and Ethel Bell Hickson. She later married Izell Wilson and worked as a Health Worker/Supervisor/CNA at Tacachale until she retired after 30+ years.
Mrs. Wilson loved garage shopping, always worked two jobs, loved her family, especially her grands and great-grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor. She did not treat anyone like a stranger. She loved the Lord, going to church and singing. She was a Church Mother at Cohen's Temple First Born Church of the Living God and became a Mother at Passage Family Church where she has been a member for 15+ years.
Her children and family mourns her passing and will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation for Mrs. Wilson will be Friday, February 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Chestnut Memorial Chapel, 18 NW 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Passage Family Church, 2020 NE 15th Street, Gainesville, FL 32609, Elder George Dix, Pastor.
Interment will follow immediately in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gainesville, FL.
