Shirley Ann Zitzelsberger

Shirley Ann Zitzelsberger, age 82, of Menasha, passed away on December 2, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Shirley was born on April 25, 1939 in Appleton, the daughter of Walter and Theresa (Stoffel) Frahm. She graduated from Appleton High School, Class of 1957. On October 21, 1961 she married Gilbert Zitzelsberger at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. The couple enjoyed over 60 years together and lived in Menasha. Shirley was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha where she sang in the church choir. She worked at Northshore Golf Club for 12 years, retiring in 1995.
In her younger years she enjoyed dancing at the Cinderella Ballroon, where she met her husband. She enjoyed baking, playing cards with her lady friends, building puzzles, going to the Casino, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Gilbert, 4 children: John (Brenda) Zitzelsberger and his daughters, Ashley (Nick) Krepline and Emily (Aaron) Zenner; Linda (Greg) Seiler and their children Andrew and Jessica Seiler; Kathy (Ned) Lownik and their children Megan (Jonathon) Stuart and Matthew (Yifan) Lownik; Terry (Theresa) Zitzelsberger and their daughters Madelyn and Eleanor Zitzelsberger. She is further survived by siblings: Kenneth (Maureen) Frahm; Vernon (Amy) Frahm; Leslie (Debra) Frahm; Phyllis (George) Woods; Karen (Tim) Miller, and many nieces, nephews, her great granddaughter Saylor Stuart and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Walter Frahm, Jr and Gilbert's parents, Joseph and Mary Zitzelsberger.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street of Menasha on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00am. There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 9:30am to 11:00am. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery of Menasha.
