Shivchander Batra Obituary
Mr. Batra was born in 1933 in India, and settled in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan where he was a school headmaster. He remained a loved and respected member of his community for the duration of his life by completing various charity work, including development of schools throughout Rajasthan. His aim was to promote the education of the youth of Rajasthan. In gratitude for his work, the state honored him with the Bhamashah Award four times at the state level.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Santosh Batra, children (including son, Dr. Devender Batra), eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
