Shoua Vue Obituary
Shoua was born February 10, 1962, in Laos. In July of 1979, she married Tria Vue, and the two fled to the United States shortly after, as Vietnam War refugees. They were part of the first wave of Hmong refugees to come to the US and arrived in Lawton, OK. Shoua and Tria went on to have 10 children together in their 36 years of marriage until Tria's passing on July 11, 2015.
Shoua is survived by her 10 children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shoua was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tria, as well as her parents and several siblings.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Aspirus Stevens Point Cancer Center, UW Health Digestive Health Center Gastroenterology Clinic, and Compassus Hospice for their care.
Funeral services will be held for Shoua at Shuda Plover Funeral Home (2400 Plover Road, Plover) beginning at 8:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025, until leaving for the burial at 8:00 AM on Monday, April 28, 2025.
