Shylo Nicole Gray, 47, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on October 9, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1978.
Shylo worked at Church of the Lakes Preschool where she touched the lives of many children and their families. She was beloved by the staff and families she worked with. Shylo made many fond memories with Nicholas, Lilly, and Cooper at the beach; It was her favorite place. She enjoyed attending her daughter Lilly's softball games and cheering her on. She was also involved in travel softball and Jackson High School Girl's Softball. Shylo was an avid animal lover and nature enthusiast. More than anything, Shylo enjoyed connecting with people, and spending time with those she loved.
Shylo also enjoyed a good glass of sweet wine with her neighbor and softball friends.
The family would like to thank Pam, Michelle, Corri, Lisa E., Shelly, Cindy, Kaylee, Lisa T., Sheyenne, Jamie, and Stephanie S. (neighbor) for their loving and compassionate care of Shylo.
Shylo is preceded in death by her step-father, John Smith; and her grandparents.
She is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas Gray; children, Lillian and Cooper; father, Randy Bohon; mother and step-father, Debra (Jerry) Reeves; sisters, Sheyenne Uhlir and Kayla Smith; her mother-in-law Stephanie and father-in-law Dan; and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday, October 17, 2025 at Church of Lakes, 5944 Fulton Drive NW, Canton, OH 44718. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00pm with a meal served after.
If you would like to make a donation, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lillian and Cooper’s college fund, or Church of the Lakes.
