Sidney Eliot Kotlus

Sidney Kotlus, 75, of Langelly Drive, died October 16, 2025, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born on April 17th, 1950, in Queens NY, the son of Irv and Lorraine Kotlus.
As an entrepreneur, he founded two successful financial recruiting firms, helping thousands of individuals find their dream jobs. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a trusted friend and mentor who built lifelong relationships and made a lasting impact on those around him.
Outside of work, Sid earned his pilot's license, which allowed him to explore different areas of New York. Around the same time, he became a motorcycle enthusiast; a passion he brought with him to New Hampshire, where he rode for over 40 years. He also had a passion for camping and boating and found great joy in teaching family and friends how to waterski.
Sid is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Heidi Kotlus, his four children Jordana, Austin, Derrick, Babhru, 5 grandchildren, and countless extended family and friends.
In place of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to American Heart Association, Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF) or a charity of your choice.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26th, at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Rd, Lee NH. Visiting hours will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, followed directly by a service.
