Yvonne Cecile Howard

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Yvonne Cecile
(Plourde) Howard of Dover, NH.
Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends reminiscing, laughing and spending
time with each other before peacefully passing away in her home on Friday October 10 th, 2025.
She was 88 years old.
Yvonne was born in Barrington, NH on December 11, 1936. To Alfred and Olivine (Delpe
Plourde. She attended grammar school in Barrington, NH and graduated from Saint Mary
Academy in Dover, NH. She went on to work at several local companies in the Dover
community while raising her family and retired from Clarostat Manufacturing Company in
Dover, NH.
She was married to Louis F Howard Jr. on August 11, 1962. They had five Children.
She is survived by her children, Karen Howard of Dover, NH, Keith and his wife Dienne Howard
of Dover, NH, Mark and his wife Rachel Howard of Berwick, ME, Brian and his husband Scott
Hodgkins of St. George, ME, Catherine Howard of Dover, NH. Her Grandchildren, Mariah,
Spencer, Colby and Caiden Howard and her Great Grandchildren Sawyer and Levi. She is also
survived by one sister Jeannette Plourde.
She is predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Louis F Howard. Three brothers, Eddie Plourde,
Felix Plourde, and Fredrick Plourde. And three sisters, Lena Ouellette, Theresa Gagne, and Rita
Smith.
She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to tend to her plants,
flowers and gardens and in her quiet time she liked to knit. She also loved to take care of her
grand fur babies and go on long walks.
She was a long-term parishioner of Parish of the Assumption of Dover, NH.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Cemetery in Dover, NH
