Richard "Dick" Martuscello

Richard "Dick" Martuscello, 87, of Dover, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. Richard was born on June 14, 1938, in Amsterdam, NY, and spent his childhood there before settling in Dover. There, he raised his family and built a life rooted in hard work, love, and community.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Richard later became a true entrepreneur. He owned and operated The Right Image Hair Salon in Dover for over 35 years, worked at Stuart Shains Clothiers, and managed numerous rental properties throughout the city. His strong work ethic and commitment to giving back were well known, and his presence in the Dover business community left a lasting mark.
Beyond his professional life, Richard was happiest when surrounded by family, traveling, or on the golf course. He loved spending time with those he cherished most, sharing stories, laughter, and lessons that will live on through the generations he helped shape.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine Martuscello, and their five children: Debra Martuscello, Anthony Martuscello, Marc Martuscello, Teresa Bean, and Maria Martuscello. He was a proud grandfather to David Wiley, Zachary Wiley, Ana Miles, Emily Martuscello, Molly Martuscello, Hannah Martuscello, Abigail Martuscello, Anthony Martuscello, Sophia Martuscello, Michael Bean, Madeline Bean, and Liam Bean, and great-grandfather to Colin Smith, Ella Miles, and Sophie Miles.
He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, his humor and warmth, and his knack for turning any challenge into an opportunity.
A private gathering for the family will be held to celebrate Richard's life.
