Sigrid was a beloved piano teacher, starting the music lady program at Peter Hoy Elementary in Lombard. Her first job was playing the organ when she was in 6th grade, and she eventually became the long time organist at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was an active member of AAUW, taking pride in her education and advocating for it.
A Celebration of life gathering will take place at 9am until time of service at 10am on Saturday, November 1st, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 545 S. Ardmore Ave. Villa Park, IL. Interment private. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Elm Tree Christian Child Care Center, are appreciated. For info: 630-932-1500.
