Simon Lee Diefenbaugh, 28, of rural North Manchester, Indiana, met the Lord at 10:03 am, Saturday, July 29, 2023. He was born on May 11, 1995, in Warsaw, Indiana, to Lee and Julie (Border) Diefenbaugh.
Simon graduated from Manchester High School, and received his degree in Accounting and Finance from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He was employed at Cornerstone Financial Solutions in Goshen, Indiana as an accountant. Simon was a member of Bachelor Creek Church of Christ. He loved being around people, and loved his family and many friends.
His memory will be cherished by his parents, Lee and Julie Diefenbaugh of North Manchester; brother, Cedric Diefenbaugh of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Sydney (Tyler Lynch) Diefenbaugh of North Manchester; grandmother, Zada Border of Bourbon, Indiana; uncles and aunts, Kort and Sue Sell of Huntington, Indiana, Jay and Emily Diefenbaugh of Cashton, Wisconsin, and Brent and Lorie Cooper of Tippecanoe, Indiana; and many cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mary Lou Diefenbaugh and Robert Border.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, at Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, 2147 N. State Road 15, Wabash, with Tyler Leland officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia. Friends may call 3-8 pm Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, and 1 hour prior to the service, Friday at the church.
Preferred memorial is Bachelor Creek Children's Ministry Program.
