Sinifredo S. Orengo "Pepin", 86, of Sprakers passed away December 4, 2022 at Ellis Hospital Schenectady, New York.
He was born in Yauco, PR on March 14, 1936 to Mr. Victoriano Orengo and Mrs. Carmen Santiago Orengo.
He was employed by LifeSavers in Canajoharie for over 20 years prior to his retirement.
Pepin always kept busy and loved to play his cuatro guitar for family and friends. He was a tinkerer at heart who loved to build and fix things around his home. He enjoyed taking drives with his wife, playing backgammon and dominoes and more than anything he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Pepin is survived by his daughters; Kimberley (Carl) Orengo-Reese of Sprakers, NY and Carmen (William) Orengo-Suits of Southport, NC. Three grandchildren; Carl Reese II, Joshua and Jordan Suits. Three great-grandchildren, Carl Reese III, Cassidee Reese and Fisher Suits as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Lynn Niles-Orengo, parents Carmen and Victoriano Orengo as well as his brothers; Angel, Epifanio, Juan, Lorenzo and Miguel Orengo.
A graveside service will take place in the spring.
