Skilar Akers Obituary
Skilar Lorraine Akers, 18, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Skilar was born July 2, 2005 in Howell, MI, to Joshua Ryan Akers and Carmen Janean Thebolt. In addition to her parents, Skilar is also survived by her brothers, Austin (Ryann) Haydu and Ryan Akers.
Skilar is preceded in death by her grandpas, Robert Bohm, Jr. (Papa) and Terry Akers; great-grandparents, Robert Bohm, Sr. and Katherine (GG), Warren and Mary Thebolt, and Ardath Louise Ballard; and aunt, Kerstin Monroe.
Skilar attended Fowlerville High School and graduated in 2023. Her passions included her family, friends, animals and her car (350Z). Skilar's interests included car meets and working on vehicles. Most of all, Skilar was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The memorial service in celebration of Skilar's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024, in the funeral home chapel.
