Snovia Lynn Kunkleman, 43, of Holton, KS, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Holton Community Hospital. She was born May 26, 1982 in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Timothy Edwin Washington and Naomi Nadean Gallisath.

Snovia earned her Certified Nurse's Aide and worked in healthcare most of her life. She had been Senior Account Manager for Labor Max and most recently a receptionist at Holton Community Hospital.

She married Darrell E. Kunkleman on October 22, 2016 in Topeka, KS. They celebrated almost 9 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell of the home; 1 daughter, Jazlynn Washington-Urbano and 1 son, Jakari Washington-Urbano both of the home; mother, Naomi Gallisath of Holton, KS; father, Timothy Washington of Holton, KS and a brother, Timothy Washington Jr. of Lee's Summit, MO; 1 niece, Rosalyn Washington; 2 God sons, Rennell Goudeau and Jeremiah Goudeau and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Byron Washington-Urbano.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. Inurnment will be at Holton Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Mercer Funeral Home to help with expenses c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
