Sofia Ortega Armendarez, 36, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Pecos, Texas.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Pecos Funeral Home from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Rosary will be March 3, 2025, at Pecos Funeral Home at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas at 10:00am with burial to follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.
Sofia was born in Houston, Texas to Gloria Ortega Flores on September 6, 1988. She went to school in Pecos, Texas. Sofia married Tyrone Armendarez on July 6, 2018, in Pecos, Texas. Sofia grew in her faith as a member of the Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Ramona Villalon Ortega, Grandfather Luis Lara Ortega, Grandfather Paufilo Rodriguez, Grandmother Gloria Waight.
Sofia is survived by her loving husband Tyrone Armendarez, daughter Jaylah and son Zayden, sister Monica Flores, brother Louis Flores, Sister Victoria Flores along with parents Gloria and Ruben Flores and Uncle Sammy Villalon.
