Fenton, Sondra S. (nee Mercer) of Ballwin, Missouri, was born May 8, 1944 in East St. Louis, Illinois to John and Annabelle (nee Spillman) Mercer and entered into rest Thursday, October 10, 2024 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, David Fenton; children, Robin Meyer(Phillip Walker) and Jeff (Juli) Mallory; step-children, Susan Fenton, Julie (Scott) Spurgeon, Jennifer Power (John) Richmond, and Scott (Lara) Fenton; grandchildren, Seth (Molly) Meyer, Zach Meyer and Molly (Brandon) Keesee, Clayton, Grace, Andrew, Jackson, Abby, Emily, Connor, Caroline, and Kate; great grandchildren, Oliver, Ella, Macy, Libbie and Abel; along with numerous other extended family and friends.
Sondra was a beloved beautician who spent many years helping others look and feel their best. Her passion for her work was only surpassed by the love she had for her family. Sondra cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren, holding them close to her heart. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love will forever shine through the lives of those she held dear.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY – Bonne Terre at St. Francois Memorial Park. Funeral 6776 Vo-Tech Rd. Bonne Terre, Missouri 63628. Interment will immediately follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
