Loretta Marie Middleton Metcalf of Bonne Terre, Missouri, was born July 29, 1937 in Elvins, Missouri to John and Rosemary (nee Graves) Middleton and entered into rest Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri at the age of 86 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosemary (nee Graves) Middleton; brothers, Elmer Leroy Middleton and James Robert Lee Middleton; husband of 32 years, Wayne Tucker.
She is survived by her loving husband, Delbert "Del" Metcalf of Bonne Terre, MO; brother, John Paul (Lois) Middleton of McIntosh, MN; sisters, June Davis of St. Peters, MO, Sandy (Rick) Skaggs of Farmington, MO and Brenda (Danny) McBride of Desloge, MO; special friends, Chris and Robin Bullock of Farmington, MO; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Loretta was a beacon of kindness and warmth, loved by many and a friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her compassionate nature and genuine smile could light up any room, making everyone feel valued and cherished. Loretta's love for her pet J.J. was evident to all, as she often shared stories of their adventures and the joy J.J. brought into her life. Her spirit of friendship and her boundless love for her furry companion will forever remain in our hearts, reminding us of the beauty and grace she brought into our lives.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, Missouri.
