Hayes, Bret E. of Saint Charles, Missouri, was born September 5, 1959 in Kennett, Missouri to Robert and Jacqueline (nee Bean) Hayes and entered into rest Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Creve Coeur, Missouri at the age of 65 years.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Robert Hayes.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sonya (nee Tinnin) Hayes; son, Augustus "Gus" Hayes; brother, Bruce (Clarita) Hayes; nephews, Austin and Connor Hayes; niece, Kaylin (Jeremy) Lundgren, and along with numerous other extended family and many friends.
Bret was a devoted family man whose love for his loved ones was boundless. His dedication to providing for them was evident in his years of hard work at UPS, where he put in countless hours to ensure a better life for those he cherished. Bret's unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and his career was a testament to his character-steady, reliable, and full of heart. He will always be remembered for his work ethic, his enjoyment of life, and, above all, the deep love he carried for those closest to him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY – Bonne Terre 6776 Vo-Tech Rd. Bonne Terre, Missouri 63628. Interment will immediately follow at St. Francois Memorial Park, Bonne Terre, Missouri.
