It´s been 2 years and I still think about Sonie very often.
I don´t believe You know or remember me but my name is Jamie and I met Sonie online under the username pastel. He touched me many peoples´ lives and I can´t thank him enough for touching my life.
Sonie was always there, for the time that I knew him he was like a rock that would alway be there for me, he helped me grow, learn, mature, and enjoy life. Sonie taught me how to that even in stressful situations you can still be extraordinarily kind.
Sonie never once raised his voice at me no matter the situation, he was a living breathing example of the type of person I strive to be.
No matter what he always cared for others, one time Sonie had gotten so sick that he couldn´t get out of bed but he still found a way to check up on me and the other people he cared about.
When Sonie´s mom (Heather) had gotten Covid he slept on the couch so that way his mom could be isolated in a comfortable bed. Sonie loved his mom and I would often hear about her from him, and how amazing she is.
Sonie is who I strive to be and if we had more people like him the world would be such a better place.
As this time of year comes around I wish that Heather, Sonie´s family, and everyone who is grieving are able to find comfort in memories. It wasn´t too long ago that I couldn´t think about him without crying, however with time I am so grateful that I am able to remember all of the amazing memories of Sonie, although they are bittersweet I am so happy that I am able to enjoy the memories that he shared with me.
Thank you Sonie for touching my life
