Mrs. Day is survived by her children and their spouses, Gail Foster (Tommy) and Penny O'Neal (Steve) all of Timberlake and Carlton Day, of Rougemont; two brothers, Carl "Creeper" Kearney, Jr. and Arthur "Bebo" Kearney (Libby), all of Franklinton; one sister, Betty Gooch, of Creedmoor; four grandchildren, Jamie Ashby, Michelle Ashby, Alex O'Neal and Kristen Day; two great-grandchildren, Kaylei Dukes and Dakota Lunsford.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Monday, October 20, 2025 at Bethany Baptist Church (245 Bethany Church Rd., Rougemont, NC, 27572) by the Dr. M. David Chambers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2PM Monday prior to the service.
Flowers are acceptable, or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
