Sophie Lee LeBlanc, 86, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Paul Lee LeBlanc, Stella L. Granier (Stephen J. Granier), Andrew Joseph LeBlanc and Bryan Henry LeBlanc; grandchildren, Bailey Paul Granier and Abby Lee Granier and sister, Neva Lee Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Joseph LeBlanc; parents, Paul Robert and Sophie Thibodaux Lee and sisters, Katherine Lee Fournet, Shirley Lee Delahoussaye and Evelyn Lee Gauthier.
Sophie was a teacher in the Lafourche Parish School System for many years, taught at LCO, Cut Off Elementary and Holy Rosary Catholic School. She was a caregiver to her parents, family members and anybody that needed her care. She was generous with her time and talent. She was compassionate to all who needed her guidance and loving support. Sophie also enjoyed crabbing, seafood, dancing, gardening and going to the beach. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

My condolences to the Lee family, Sophia´s mother Aunt Sophia was my mother´s Aunt & my Grandmother´s sister. Mother was Louise Guillot Boudreaux and My grandmother was Alice Thibodaux Guillot. I´m Bernard Boudreaux and we stopped many times at Aunt Sophia´s and Uncle Paul´s house on the way to Grand Isle in the late 50´s and early 60´s. I was born in1949.
