Spencer Klakring

Spencer Keith Klakring was born September 13, 1986 to Dennis and Linnea Klakring in Bellevue, Washington. He spent his early years in Issaquah, Washington riding bikes, building forts, climbing trees and having the most fun with his five siblings. When he wasn't playing he would often be found snuggled up with an encyclopedia, filling his mind with all the information he could fit into it. His curiosity was insatiable, and this stayed with him throughout his life. Spencer loved the outdoors. Snowboarding, wakeboarding, rock climbing and hiking were some of his favorite things. He was always up for a trip into the mountains or an off-roading adventure in Moab. During his middle school years the family relocated to Northwest Arkansas where Spencer finished school. He graduated from Bentonville High School and went on to graduate from Brigham Young University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent a number of years during his time at BYU working in the machine lab, a place he truly loved, and upon graduation spent his career designing parts for off-roading vehicles.

Although Spencer's brilliant mind and sense of adventure were top notch, his greatest asset was his big heart. His kindness knew no bounds and he was always willing to fix or build something or troubleshoot a problem for anyone. He loved to help others and found great joy in that service. He loved others and he was deeply loved. Spencer's family is incredibly close and he will be missed more than words can express. He is survived by his parents, his oldest brother Josh Klakring (Ashley Hossman), sister Jessica Carter (Benjamin Carter), sister Amanda Quinn (Orie Quinn), brother Jeff Klakring (Karen Klakring) and younger brother Taylor Klakring (Jessica Klakring) as well as 23 nieces and nephews.

Spencer tragically passed away in a car accident in Utah on October 29, 2025. His loss is felt deeply.

A celebration of life will be held on November 15, 2025 in Provo, Utah at the Nelson Family Mortuary from 11am to 1pm. There will be a live webcast available for those who cannot attend in person and would like to view the services. All who would like to help honor Spencer are invited to attend.
