Spencer Watson Obituary

Spencer was a member of the Lighthouse Church of the Apostolic Faith, and grew up actively participating in youth and church activities. His love of music played a key role in his life, and his favorite spiritual was "Come on in the House". He fervently embraced life and believed in making every moment count. During vacation outings and family gatherings, he was always the life of the party, Spencer loved photo shots and was known for capturing memories that will forever leave his imprint in our lives.
Spencer was an honor graduate of Pascagoula High School Class of 2014. Upon graduation, his eagerness to serve others led him to join the US Army Reserve in August 2015. His pursuit of employment began at the tender age of 16. His work history includes KFC, Wendy's, Amazon, FedEx, and welder at Huntington-Ingalls Shipyard.
Spencer was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. Watson, Cora Watson, and Joseph Sherrod ;cousin, TyKeem Lett; godparents, Irvin and Ora Dee Richardson ; uncle, Therone Watson, and aunts; Jeanette Green and Bobby Jean Tolbert.
Spencer leaves to cherish his fond memories, his loving parents; Raymond James "Butch" Watson, and Rosie "Cookie" (Kenneth) Griffin; adoring grandmother, Annie Sherrod; siblings, Richard Lewis, Cortrelle McElroy, Ramania McDonald, Shelia Huff, and Jason Watson; uncles, Tommy(Carla) Sherrod, Shun (Shelia) Watson, Eddie (Charlean) Watson, Joe Watson, and Dr. Charles (Peggy) Griffin ; devoted aunt, Rhonda White; aunts, Bari (Harold) Haynes, Linda (Eddie) Cobbs, Deidra (Muhammad) Johnson, Ann Edwards, Francis "Mamma Lou" Smith, Joyce (James) Lee, Sharonia (Roy) Rogers, Vennessa (Charlie) Carr, Ida Ruth O'Leary, Carolyn Harvey, and Mary Griffin; god brother, Jeffrey Richardson; god sisters, Tiara Parker and Vicki R. McKoy-El; special friends, Denise Crudup, Constance Stanton, Chakeela Stanton, Miracle Good, and a host of additional friends, cousins, and classmates.
