Srun Sour Obituary
Srun Sour was born on June 12, 1926 to Sour and Hein Bao in Kompong Cham, Cambodia. He grew up in Cambodia, where he was a farmer, and moved to Faribault MN sponsored by his daughters in 1994. Srun Sour lived life to the fullest here in America; he was very involved and friendly in the Khmer community, he was always full of smiles, laughter, and loved to chat with everyone. He enjoyed going for walks with his grandchildren, spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, meditating at the Cambodian temples, celebrating Chinese New Year with family, and gardening.
Srun is survived by his wife, Ang Lim; daughters, Muly Srey, Kimberly Sour, Chantha (Hon) Pril, and Venessa (Bunthorn) Tem; grandchildren, Tida Sokheng, Kollyan Sokheng, Brooke Sokheng, Whitney Sokheng, Chanda Sour, William Srey, Richard Srey, Jenny Nin, Jardiya Srey, Chedtra Srey, Dara Sour, Tim Sour, Jon Sour, Molyka Sour, Randy Sour, Dana Sour, Danie Fisher, Melissa Ronneberg, Anita Pril, Kevin Pril, many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
