Stachia (Stacey) Disney Obituary
Stachia (Stacey) Boddy Disney, 68, of Ft Worth Tx, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Stacey was born June 22, 1957, in Pampa to Don and Shirley Boddy. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1975 and received a degree in Religion/Sociology at TCU. Her life’s work was dedicated to serving others through social work.
Assisting children & families at CPS; Director of ARC; Parent Child Reconsolidation. Advocate of crime victims at Waco Distric Attorney’s office & with individuals at Tarrent County MHMR. Honored by Texas as having the second highest number of completed cases statewide.
Her greatest joy was becoming a mother to Laura and Cameron through adoption. Spending months in Romania making lifelong friends and helping other familes navigate their own adoption paths. She was a loving & devoted mother & grandmother. Her granddaughter, Alina, was the love & joy of her life.
Her compassion extended to everyone she met, leaving a legacy of kindness.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include daughter Laura Disney; Cameron Disney; granddaughter Alina Disney; brother Daniel Boddy; aunts Mickey Woodward & Sandy……; uncle Robert Woodward; many cousins and friends.
Memorials can be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
