STACY LEE CASHIN
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stacy Lee Cashin on March 5, 2025, at the young age of 50, following a brief but strong fight against cancer. She is survived by her beloved daughter Zoe Cashin of Raleigh NC, parents Dan and Linda Geurin of Cary NC, sister Leslie Geurin of Charlotte NC, and her devoted partner Brian Dickinson of Cary NC, along with an army of loyal and loving friends and extended family.
She was born in Wiesbaden, West Germany and lived most of her life in North Carolina. She was a proud graduate and lifelong fan of all things UNC having earned both a BS in Chemistry and MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Stacy was an amazing Mother, Daughter, Sister, Partner and Friend to all. She never met a stranger and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Stacy loved life and lived it to the fullest, whether at a concert, on the lake, at a Canes game, or at the beach. She was always on the go making the most of every moment.
Her daughter Zoe will forever be the greatest joy of her life. She lived for making memories with and for Zoe, whether dressing up in inflatable Dinosaur costumes, sending her "Love Mom" notes with breakfast and lunches, she worked tirelessly to create unique and thoughtful experiences for the two of them to enjoy together. She was also a proud momma to loving cat Simba and dog Jake. The family would like to thank the Rex Oncology and Hospital ICU team for their dedication, care, and compassion.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Stacy's Memorial Fund to benefit her daughter Zoe, available at EverLoved.com or to any charity close to your heart in Stacy's memory. A remembrance celebration of life for Stacy will be announced in the near future. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Stacy, please visit our Tree Store.
