Stacy Reid Chaney, age 58, formerly of Clinton, husband of Yolanda Priestly Chaney, passed away, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was born August 1, 1967 in Clinton, SC, and was the son of the late Reid and Sally Ann Beaman Chaney. Stacy was a 1985 graduate of Clinton High School and dedicated over 20 years to the bearing manufacturing industry. He enjoyed time in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and was known as a “jack of all trades” for his many skills.
In addition to his wife of 23 years, Stacy is survived by his children, Sierra Chaney, Courtney, Shelby, Reid, and Aulexcie; his siblings, Melissa Chaney Burke (Christopher and Taylor), Sonia Chaney Brazell (Jeff) (Brittany and Raye-Anne), Susan Dawn Johnson (Shannon and Tara), Sherry Elizabeth Bedenbaugh (Megan, Hali and Zach), Beverly Langford, Kimberly Folk, and Rodney Johnson (Kathy); and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle Young (Lonnie), Timothy Priestley, and Tarnikia Priestley (Lee).
The family will greet friends, Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 1-2 PM at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
