Stanley B. "Stan" Adams

Stanley B. Adams, 71, of Bartlett, departed this life Thurs., June 15, 2023, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.
He was born June 24, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Paul George and Sara Jean Bush Adams. Mr. Adams was a senior field engineer in telecommunications, having worked for various companies (including MCI and Sprint) in Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee. He served as a preacher for various churches of Christ and enjoyed working with Ham radios, writing various articles and restoring antique radios, and he was an avid reader. He was married to Tommy Sue Scott on August 20, 1971, who survives
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three daughters, Nicole Adams of Cordova, TN, Erin Adams of Springfield, TN, and Rachel Mayo and husband Raborn of Millington; a son, Tom Adams and his wife Vanessa of Bartlett; a granddaughter, Layla Adams; a step-granddaughter, Cheyenne Crawford and her husband Micah; a step-great-granddaughter, Stephanie Crawford; and a brother Chuck Adams of Wabash, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requests that memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, American Cancer Society, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
