Stanley R. Allen

Stanley Raymond Allen, age 89, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on January 28th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stanley was born in Carrollton, Illinois to Bessie Ellen (Williams) Allen and John W. Allen on September 21, 1936.

Stanley was born and raised on a family farm. He had to learn how to do a lot of men's chores as a kid, due to WW2.
After completing High School, he and his brother Larry joined the Army on the G.I. Bill, in Dec. 1954. While on leave, on 11/11/1956, he married Constance E. Reed of Jerseyville, Illinois. He then finished his last year in the army in Arizona and was honorably discharged in Dec. 1957. He went on to graduate from U of I, four years later. He became a great accountant, also earning degrees and licenses in CPA and Reality. He retired in Southern California and in 2005, relocated to Henderson, NV.

He is preceded in death by his wife Connie, of 65-1/2 years of marriage, who passed on March 28, 2021.

He is survived by his son, John Allen Parker, and John's girlfriend of 30 years, Evelyn.
