Stanley P. "Stan" Das Jr., age 70, of
Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of
Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Stan was the beloved son of the late Stanley P. Das Sr. and Gertrude (Mulligan) Das. He grew up in Methuen, graduating from Methuen High School. Stan married his high school sweetheart, Mary Jane (Pare) Das, beginning a remarkable journey of love and devotion that spanned 46 years.
Stan was a proud and devoted father to Andrea Rose Das and Eric Joseph Das and his wife Rana Bates, and the cherished grandfather of Veneta, affectionately known as "Baby Girl." He also leaves behind several cousins, extended family, and many dear friends, all of whom were touched by his warmth and generosity. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Donna F. Das.
Family was the cornerstone of Stan's life. Known affectionately as "Stan the Man," he was deeply involved in his community and always found joy in being active. He loved golf, played in bowling leagues, and enjoyed softball. His passion for sports extended to coaching Little League, where he inspired young athletes with his encouragement and dedication. A lifelong supporter of all Boston sports teams, Stan's enthusiasm was infectious, whether cheering from the stands or watching from home.
Beyond sports, he enjoyed a companionship with his dog, Benni, who brought him endless joy. His zest for life, his humor, and his unwavering love for family and friends made him a treasured presence in every room he entered.
Stan's legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him.
