Stanley Raymond Simpson, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Born in Anderson, he was the son of Lawrence Joseph and Minnie Every Simpson and the wife of Claudia Acuff Simpson. He was a used cars sales manager at Fairway Ford, Bill Cribb Chevrolet and Performance Chevrolet in Seneca.
Survivors also include two sons, Aaron "AJ" Simpson and wife, Brooke Rikard and Kevin Longmire and wife, April; two daughters, Kimberly S. Grant and husband, Joe and Kerri Beth Simpson; a brother, Monte Simpson; a sister, Emily Owen; ten grandchildren, Zelda Rae Simpson, Maxine Ruth Simpson, Daniel Longmire, Michael Longmire, Trisha Longmire, Brandon Longmire, Levi Breeden, Abigale Breeden, Daniel Hayes and Kayla Longmire; and ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Doug Longmire; and two brothers, Charles Stephens and Harold Stephens.
Memorial service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, June 01, 24 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Keith and Michelle Felker officiating. The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service.

I enjoyed meeting Stan during our Anderson outings. He was a very friendly man and I could tell how much love he had for Claudia. He will be missed.

Claudia and family, my heart breaks for you all. I saw this obituary and I am so sad to hear about Stanley´s passing. You all will be in my prayers. Claudia, you and Stanley have always been very special people to me and forever in my heart.
