Stanley Trotter Obituary

Stanley Edward Trotter, 77, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away at his home on December 24, 2023 after a battle with cancer. He was born on November 4, 1946 to Plymouth and Lorene Trotter.
After graduation from Greenwood High School in 1964, he attended Westark Community College and then was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam as a cook. When he returned from Vietnam, he worked laying tile and then started his career at Southwestern Bell/AT&T, where he was a lineman, splicer, and repairman/installer. He retired in 2002 after 29 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement years raising angus beef cattle and spending time with his family and friends. He faithfully attended the Greenwood Church of Christ his entire life.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Paula; two daughters, Kimberly Lisenby and husband, James of Pottsboro, TX and Kelly Jennings and husband, Adam of Dickinson, ND; two grandchildren, Austin and Allyson Lisenby; one sister, Linda Faber and husband, Gerald and one brother, Don Trotter all of Hackett.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Friday, December 29 at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
