Stefan Bischof, 87, of Barrington, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1938 in Croatia to Adam and Julianna Bischof.

The Bischof family extends heartfelt thanks to Heartland Hospice for their exceptional care.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL 60010. Visitation will resume on October 1, 2025 from 9:30 AM until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.), Barrington. Burial to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Donauschwaben Society of Chicago, https://www.donauchicago.com/home
