Stefan Evans Sr., 75, of Sayre, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 29, 2025.
Stefan loved music, fishing, karaoke, and collecting knives and swords. He often shared these passions with his daughter, Sabrina, and his close friends: Brandy, Bobby, Brenda, Tasha, Natalie, Michelle, Kevin, Jimmy, Lucas, Micah, and Tracy and Michelle Randall. Even in simple moments—by the water or watching television—he found joy in life’s quiet pleasures.
He served briefly in the United States Army and remained deeply patriotic throughout his life. Although he was distant from most of his children, he spoke of them often and carried love for each of them in his heart, always wishing them happiness and the best in life.
Stefan is survived by his children: Stefan Evans Jr., Sabrina Evans, Jennie Maughan, Raymond Evans, Jonathan Evans, Stefanie Stevens, Megan Evans, and Anita Evans; his grandchildren: Elizabeth, Ariella, Stefan, Olis, Tyler, Ashley, Katarina, Jadon, Ashlynn, Landyn, Dominic, Devin, Andrew (AJ), Addeline, Gabriella, Darin, and Aleigha; his siblings: Greg Evans, Randy Evans, Loren Evans, and Jenny Evans; and his best friend, Kevin Ribbecke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Louis.
Those who knew Stefan will remember his love of music, the peace he found by the water, and the laughter he shared. Though he has passed from this life, his presence will live on in memories, songs, and moments cherished.
