With heavy hearts and deep love, we remember the life of Stephanie Brightbill, who passed away at the age of 46, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, creativity, and cherished memories. Born on December 19, 1978, Stephanie brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her easy laugh, kind, gentle and loving spirit, and her gift for sharing stories made everyone feel at home in her presence.

A graduate of Plainview High School in 1997, she became a licensed Cosmetologist in 1999. Stephanie had an artistic soul, very much like her mother's, and a flare for the artistic world of color and light. She enjoyed expressing herself through creative outlets, including a passion for photography and was in pursuit of her own photography studio. Other passions that she enjoyed were baking and extensive reading. She found beauty in everyday moments of life and in finding kindness in others.

She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she held a special place in the hearts of her niece and nephews: Karis and Jacob Brightbill, and Samuel and Silas Anderson, who adored her deeply and who she was especially fond of; they had an unconditional place in her heart and she never tired of playing and talking to them with non-stop joy and laughter. Her fun-loving nature and warm heart will be remembered fondly and cherished by them all.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Debbe Brightbill, and her brother, Chris Brightbill. She is survived by her blended family, her father and 2nd mom, Jerry and Linda Brightbill; her brother, Michael Brightbill, and wife, Felicia; her brother, Jim Munoz; her sister, Sarah Anderson, and husband, Stephen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Each grieves her loss and celebrates the life she lived.

Stephanie's Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10:30 am at Lemons Funeral Home, with Rev. Cory Nickerson, her uncle, officiating.

In the midst of sorrow we are comforted by and hold fast to the promises of Scripture: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain…" Revelation 21:4a.

We take comfort in knowing Stephanie is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with loved ones, and at peace. She will be greatly missed-forever loved and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to donate, memorials can be sent to the Debbe Brightbill Art Memorial Fund at Wayland Baptist University, Plainview, TX or in Memory of Stephanie Brightbill to the South Plains SPCA.
